My name is Kara Nicole Bitar. I hold a J.D. from Duke University School of Law and practiced high-stakes corporate litigation at one of the largest law firms in the Southeast. I combine the dedication and commitment that it took to become a successful attorney, real-life training in what it takes to succeed at high-levels, and extensive research, experience and training in how to optimize ourselves and our lives.

Even in this high-pressure, fast-paced experience, we can live in states of joy, abundance, excitement and passion for life.

This is actually our natural state.

And it is possible – for everyone

My life’s mission is showing you how.

There was a time when I did not know what it was that I liked. I wondered if I had any real passions in life. I knew how to work hard, I knew what others and society said I should like or deem important, but what did I love? What made me excited to get up in the morning? I now know my passion in life is helping others to express and experience their greatness, their creativity and their uniqueness, so that they can relish in and love their lives.

I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Siena College, attended Duke University School of Law on an academic scholarship and practiced high-stakes corporate litigation at one of the largest firms in the Southeast.

I had a great job for a lawyer. I worked on complex cases involving interesting legal issues. I was appreciated and supported by my colleagues. I was able to do a significant amount of pro bono work for victims of domestic violence and was eventually named leader of the firm’s pro bono domestic violence program. I made a lot of money. I had a charming home in a beautiful city. I had two cute little dogs and a loving husband.

Even though on the outside I looked successful, I was unhappy. I was not sure why I was unhappy. Given everything I had, I thought I should be happy. But I felt like my life primarily consisted of expending all of my energy at work, pushing my body and mind to their limits, coming home at night, eating dinner in a daze, collapsing into bed and then doing it all over again.  I felt tired most of the time, my body ached, I had a number of health issues and my relationships felt superficial.  I was also plagued by self-critical and fearful thoughts, nothing I did was ever good enough for me, no amount of success was enough.

While in law school and as practicing attorney, I spent any free time I had trying to help myself feel good and cope with the demands I was under. I read books by different thought leaders, meditated, did various workouts, saw different healers and other wellness practitioners. In the end, nothing gave me the solutions I was looking for.

In my sixth year of practice, I decided to leave the firm.  Even though I was leaving behind all that I had worked so hard to accomplish, I had to know - was I here just to work hard, watch my body deteriorate, have a few moments of joy here and there or was there more?

After I left, I used the same discipline, drive and commitment that I used to become a successful attorney to finding what, if anything, would lead to a life of health, happiness and success.

I tried different diets and cleanses, saw an array of healers, studied and tried various techniques using things like crystals and essential oils, attended workshops, learned how to make custom flower remedies, read and practiced different philosophies and used all sorts of other wellness tools.  I did a significant amount of work with different methodologies and healers to uncover and change subconscious patterning.  I also trained in and became certified in a number of healing modalities.  After almost a year and a half, I still lacked energy, my body ached, I had a number of health issues and thoughts of unworthiness and fear seemed to dictate my life.

What was even more discouraging was that even after giving all of my time to these practices, I seemed to be in worse health than I was when I was working.  How could this be after all I had done?  Further, not only was my health poor, but I was spending almost my entire day doing all these different practices because I was told they all were essential.  But where was the time for creating?  For living?  Was I just supposed to spend all my time “healing” and/or trying to keep up my health?

While I felt deeply discouraged, I kept trying different things.  I am so glad I did, because eventually I found Kundalini Yoga and it was a turning point for me. I started to become more clear-minded, energized and inspired.  The aches and pains in my body went away.  Health problems that plagued me since I was a child started to dissipate.  Life took on a whole a new meaning for me.

As I became more clear-minded through the practice of Kundalini Yoga and regained my health, I began to see why the practices I did before failed to work and, in some instances, made things worse.  It was upsetting that I spent over a year of my life doing things that instead of helping me, were leading to more health issues and more confusion.  What I came to see though, was that there were pieces in these practices that carried some legitimacy and effectiveness.

My goal then became to understand what brings forth results and does so efficiently and effectively.  As I experimented with this more, I was able attain even greater levels of clarity, creativity and happiness and do it in a way that was empowering and efficient.

I now use the cumulation of all that I have learned to help my clients. So that they can live lives of fulfillment, happiness, health, joy and success - and can do so without confusion, trial and error and wasting time on things that don’t work. If I would have known when I was practicing law what I now know, my experience could have been so different. You do not have to struggle as I did. I have done the work for you. Waded through the confusion and things that do not work and put together what does work.

Right where you are, you can change your life.
